A CANDID HERO IN A PLAYFUL, COLORFUL AND TACTILE WORLD
Oggy Oggy is the new pre-school animated series produced by the French animation studio Xilam, also developed with the contribution of expert pedagogues and child psychologists. It is aimed at a target audience of children from 2 to 5 years old, and features Oggy Oggy in his childhood, who lives his daily adventures with playfulness, candour and lots of enthusiasm.
Sensitive, curious and daring, Oggy Oggy is a happy habitant of a fantasy world populated by colourful little cats, and is always eager to have new experiences and help anyone he meets on his way.
Ingenious and persevering, he never gives up, and with a determination to make other cats’ lives beautiful, he succeeds in his endeavours in surprising ways.

The episodes of the series, which combine elements of comedy and adventure, see the protagonists express themselves through a non-verbal language, based on mimic and sound effects, particularly suitable for stimulating children’s imagination, and are accompanied by an off-screen narrator.

The animated series and Brand development strategies

The animated series, which includes 156 episodes of 7 minutes in 2 seasons, is available on Netflix from August 2021. As far as free-to-air TV channels are concerned, Xilam has defined a very ambitious plan of partnerships with class A broadcasters, which already has France-TV in France, Super RTL in Germany, Milkshake a UK, RTS Kids in Spain and Frisbee in Italy on board.

The global Master Toy, Simba Dickie Group, launched the toy collection, targeting children 3-6 years, accompanied by an intensive communication campaign. The assortment, initially available in France, Italy, Germany and the UK, will also be introduced in other countries.
The launch of the toys and the important advertising and promotion activities to support it are part of an articulated strategic development plan for the property that includes substantial investments and numerous initiatives. A rich digital ecosystem will include a website with games and activities for children and a parents section, a dedicated Youtube channel and a partnership with the Netflix Junior and Youtube Kids channels, to host exclusive content. In addition, there will be collaborations with influencers through dedicated social channels (Instagram and Facebook), True View campaigns, classic advertising activities, special promotional operations and events on the territory (Meet and greet at Cinecittà World-October 2022).
